The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

As has already been explained above, sciller's post was within the rules, albeit confusing for new counters. I'm afraid what that means is that the post following it counts as a mistake, and therefore the Count had to be restarted.

If there's any need of clarification or changes concerning the rules of the game, you're welcome to bring it up in the Discussion thread. I don't think this recent case warrants adaptation. As for editing, do users really not have that function at all anymore?

1. I never saw your name before. What should we talk about? I listed a few topics above. Other topics are plants, mythology, random facts. Next person picks. We should save creepy topics like skeletons for October.

2. In recent times when I’ve edited a comment it wouldn’t work. I think a message containing the full set of rules should be the most recent message in the CT100 discussion as it’s split into multiple parts.

3. You really don't know? Yeah, it used to be the edit wouldn't show if you completed it within 30 seconds, but that hasn't held for a long time. Even since before I started posting, so pre-2017. All edits show now. The only thing we can do is delete and repost which I don't think is fair game.

(commissioner post, no need to restart)

Yeah, I knew about the changes to the edit system. I assumed Widestsinger was saying there is no edit function anymore at all, of course it not being there and it not working correctly are two different things.

I'll put the complete set of rules in a new post in the discussion thread when I get the time, thanks for the suggestion.

4. Technically there is no rule against deleting and reposting a comment but yeah it goes against the spirit of the game. When I sent that paragraph a few days ago I wanted to change a part and when I went to go edit it it just gave me an error and I had to delete and repost it. I posted this exact comment annd tried to edit it and it worked so I just think it works sometimes and doesn’t others. Btw I sent that long list of games and not just the quest page because the quest page doesn’t include games that are no longer available, that list does.

5. I saw that list. I got another insane quest after you posted that. Witch Hunt, I have all the quests! Do you want to talk about something else now? Animals, plants, music, or another topic?

6. Ok nobody wants to comment so I'll do it, the complete new set of rules have been posted in the discussion thread so I'd recommend everyone re-reads it to refresh themselves on the rules. I'd also recommend that you try to find anything wrong or confusing in them to help make this count a better place.
I (personally) don't think that we should jump from topic to topic so quickly Cloak, I think that conversations should flow naturally and that people should say whatever is on their minds instead of following a topic someone else came up with. Hope that didn't come off as rude.

8. You didn't have an idea for a topic. Want to just share jokes? Here's one my mom made up. What's a pirate's favorite element? Argon!

9. Thank you Sciller. Honestly I think the only way I could word it is just to try to be a little less corny, the way messages are sent now feel unnatural and only for the sake of a dumb quest instead of people trying to speak. Maybe go into a game on AG you've played recently instead of sharing factoids or random pieces of information that are currently inside of your mind that are irrelevant.

10. I keep telling people to pick a topic, and still no one did. We can talk about any of the topic I listed before or we can talk about something else. There are only two conditions; it can't go against any of the site's rules, and nothing very gross.

11. What about talking about everyone's favorite colors?

13. Blue, this isn't a 6th grade seminar, you don't have to pick a topic and stick to it, just talk like normal people (I'm assuming you don't ask your friends their favorite color and tell them facts about the water randomly).
Since AG decided to stop adding quests I've had to go back to older games to do what I could. Most of the games I have left are broken or just so unenjoyable to my taste that I really can't do anything. I feel that my time on this website might be coming to an end soon. I've also checked every game that still seems to be broken and thankfully some of them work again so I got some quests from those (you can see them on my profile) but besides that this website has not much left to offer. Most of the recent games don't hit as hard as they used to and some (one) of them is AI generated.
