I feel so lucky. I stare at the computer screen everyday for at least 5 hours a day and yet I still have perfect vision. And in the summer, double that. In fact, the last time I checked, I had 20/15 vision. Is there a reason for this? I'm very confused.

My eyes are degrading, although not because of the screen. Though it probably doesn't help.

My eyes have trouble focusing on things. I have perfect vision, I just can't focus right. My eyes zoom in and out of focus rapidly.

I've been sitting about 1.5 feet away from a 32" Sony Bravia TV/Computer screen for about 3 years and nothing has happened.

I have perfect vision.

Although, I often space out and forget what I'm looking at.

Yes, I know that.

So I'm not the only one. Thank Lord.

My eyesight is getting worse the older I get. Not from computers though, I've only been active online for about six years. I've had glasses since 10, but I like them.

You are just very lucky.
I wear glasses only when I want to look wiser.

I have horrible eyes. If I don't have my glasses on, it's hard to see the text on the computer screen.

I've got good eyes. Rest them every 30 minutes, and stop for a break every 3 hours of solid working time (with 5 min breaks)

As far as I know, the "Sitting too close to the screen will ruin your eyes" as well as the "reading in bad light will damage your eyes" are myths made by parents (like "Do not go into the water after you have eaten&quot, but I am not sure.
Glasses here, got them 8 years ago, before I got my own computer or even my own tv, so not really because of screens.
