Well I guess the title says it all, I was just wondering who ya'll thought were the most active 'forumers' in this part of the AG forum. Opinions, that what this Forum is going to be, pure opinions, and yes you can say 'Me'.

No, no it isn't!

My dad wants to put more lights on our house so we can "fit in" with the rest of the neighbor hood. But I argue against him on buying more lights.

I think that the idea of christmas lights is a mixed blessing.

They are an absolute pain to put up, eat electricity and require constant maintainance.

On the flip side.....they are sooooooo pretty! I love to get into my car and drive about, looking at lights. It's soo....soo....Christmasy

Fitting in? Isn't it more enjoyable to sit with the possessions extra money affords you then just fitting in?

It's a house. It doesn't need the lights. Only weaklings who feel the need to impress need an excessive amount of lights.

Oh, and if you're buying them solely out of your love for lights then that's all good.

i thought this thread was about Christmas decorations? Why are we so off topic, but i see Christmas decorations out mostly everywhere i go now and we already put up our tree and lights and stuff.

I just noticed that this thread was created only a couple of weeks after I first started using the forums. Old thread is old. Not sure where my earliest activity in this one is, as I was primarily a WEPR haunt until a couple months ago and I CBA to look through the thread to find my first post.

As for christmas lights, I'm with strongbow. I love to go around town and look at all the houses that are decorated, however I'm a complete cheapskate and refuse to buy any for my own place. I'd rather put the money toward something far more selfish (and enjoyable) than an increased electric bill
